One of the most important aspects of my job is working as a science explainer — spending time with technical subject matter experts, and working to convert their complexity into something simple enough that it can be understood by anybody. Part of my strategy for improving this at Akamai has been to add a layer of science explanation to things like documentation, technical charts, and graphs.

My team built a process that allows these assets to be produced quickly, and on an assembly line basis.
